Improve economic benefits by attracting resident and visitors alike to the area through recreational amenities, boosting local businesses, and creating job opportunities in the recreation field.

Infrastructure Improvement

Programs and recreation services in Howell will continue to stay affordable, especially for youth and seniors. It will also allow us greater opportunities to partner with municipalities to bring new recreation developments in the future.

Enhancements of Parks, Trails, and Facilities

Critical upgrades to Bennett Rec center tennis courts and renovations to Page Athletic Field track.

Reduced Fees

15% reduction in fees for ALL residents, savings of about $160 annually per average household, and free facility and Senior Center membership for 75+.

Enhanced Recreation Offerings

Adaptive recreation, inclusive fitness classes, sensory-friendly events, and new programs to bring the community together.

Public Input and Transparency

Public funding allows the funds to remain in the Municipalities, gives the community a voice, and reduces the strain on grant and fundraising needs.
